Perhaps one of the most intriguing spiritual realities of the Christian experience is the believer's unique relationship with Yahweh, the creator of the universe. Our great and awesome God, who as the scriptures eloquently express "established the earth upon its foundations and stretched a measuring rod across it to calculate its dimensions", lovingly calls us his sons and daughters. As his children, we have unique privileges and responsibilities in the kingdom of God. Spiritually, we are royalty and our spiritual heritage exceeds any known to man. It is truly an honor to be a member of a royal family whose fame and fortune are unparalleled on earth. As much of our concept of royalty is rooted in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, we will examine aspects of royalty from these periods to gain a greater understanding of the dynamics of royal life. Join me as we take a spiritual and historical look at what it means to be a Prince and Princess of the Most High God and King.
