Scriptural Support for Our

        Royal Heritage

As a member of the royal family,  it is vital to have a clear understanding of one's family history.  Such an understanding will undoubtedly increase the depth and breadth of understanding concerning our family's past and future.  As opposed to concentrating of endless genealogies and charts depicting detailed family lines, we will focus our exploration of key sacred writings that define and illustrate our spiritual kinship to the Great King.

The holy oracles of God clearly establish the royal identity of God and his son Jesus the Christ:

     1.  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall

be upon his shoulders: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor,

The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  Of the increase

of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David,

and upon his kingdom to order it, and to establish it with judgment and justice

from henceforth even for ever.  The zeal of the Lord of host will perform this.

          Isaiah 9: 6-7

    2.  Thou art my King, O God:  command deliverances from Jacob.  Through thee we will

will push down our enemies : through thy name we will tread them under that

rise up against us.  For I will trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

But  Thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

In God we boast all the day long, and praise His name forever.  Selah  Psalm 44: 4-8

3.     Oh clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.  For

the Lord most high terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.  He shall subdue the

people under us, and the nations under our feet.   Psalm 47: 1-4

Every individual who believes Jesus is the Christ is spiritually born into the family of God:

    1. That was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.  He

(Jesus) was in the world and the world was made by him, and the world knew him

not.  But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the

sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.  Gospel of John 1:12

    2. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should

be called the sons of God: therefore the world  knoweth us not, because it knew

him not.  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what

we shall be:  but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for

we shall see him as he is.   I John 3:1-2

    3.  For as many are as led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have

not the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,

whereby we cry Abba, Father.  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that

we are the children of God.  Romans 8: 14-16
