What's New In Our Site?

This past winter the St. Francis Literature and Fine Arts Society realized numerous important goals.  Perhaps chief among these was the completion and publication of our  illuminated version of the Song of Songs, a beautiful book of Hebrew love poetry.  The Song of Songs is unrivaled among ancient literature in its exploration and presentation of amorous and spiritual love. Additionally, we published an illuminated version of Psalm 139, which explores the awesome nature of divine love.  Continuing with the motif of love this winter, we also published an intriguing essay The Pistel of Swete Susan which is replete with an abundance of highly symbolic natural images.

To facilitate your navigation of  Botticelli's Vision, we have also added helpful indexes to Chaucer's Corner and Francis's Corner.   As always, we  are  committed to enhancing your knowledge of Medieval and Renaissance literature, culture, spirituality and fine Art.  In the words of our Medieval and Renaissance progenitors " We commend you to God!"
