The Gardens  at Thomas Jefferson's  Monticello

    The past few years have been exciting and sometimes frustrating building and settling into our new home Meadow Brooke Manor.  Through God's guidance and blessing, we were able to build a charming new home on several wooded acres on the scenic Peninsula in Northern Virginia.  The natural history in the area is astounding, replete with deer, wild turkey and bald eagles. Additionally, as the property situated close to beautiful wetlands,  there is an impressive variety of fowl to include blue jays, hummingbirds and woodpeckers.  We look forward to enjoying this beautiful world throughout the years.  This Diary is dedicated to exploring the natural history of  the Meadow Brooke Manor and the surrounding area.  I hope that you enjoy the beauty of Meadow Brooke Manor.
